My journey began with a simple curiosity about how things work on the internet. This curiosity led me to explore various technologies and frameworks, eventually participating in Google Summer of Code where I contributed to Drupal's core improvements.
The experience taught me the value of open source and community collaboration. I started mentoring students, sharing my knowledge and experiences. Over the years, I've guided more than 30 students through various programs, helping them navigate their tech careers.
But I wanted to do more than just code. I co-founded a technology company that now serves over 1700 clients globally. We focus on creating solutions that solve real business problems, making technology accessible and useful for everyone.
Alongside my tech journey, I've been deeply involved in social impact initiatives. As the Vice President of an NGO, I've helped implement sustainable development projects across more than 20 villages, proving that technology can be a powerful tool for social change.
Today, I continue to wear multiple hats - developer, mentor, entrepreneur, and social impact advocate. I believe in the power of technology to transform lives and am always excited about new opportunities to make a difference.
Life Lessons & Advice
If I could go back in time, here are five pieces of advice I'd give to my younger self. I hope these insights help you avoid some of the detours I took on my journey.
Build Your Network Early
College isn't just about grades—it's your first professional network. The connections you make during these years can open doors you didn't even know existed. Actively participate in communities, attend tech meetups, and collaborate on projects with peers.
Start Today: Join a coding club or attend a local tech meetup
Financial Literacy is Power
Understanding compound interest isn't just math—it's your future wealth. Start investing early, even if it's small amounts. Your future self will thank you for understanding the power of compound growth and smart financial planning.
Action Step: Set up an automatic investment plan, no matter how small
The 90-Day Rule
Any meaningful project or skill takes time to bear fruit. I've learned that 90 days is often the minimum time needed to see real progress. Don't abandon ship when things get tough—that's usually right before the breakthrough.
Remember: Progress isn't always visible day-to-day
Health is Your True Wealth
In the rush of deadlines and projects, it's easy to neglect your health. But your body is the hardware that runs your life's software. Regular exercise, proper sleep, and stress management aren't optional—they're crucial for long-term success.
Start Small: 10-minute daily walks or meditation
Master Your Core Skill
While being versatile is valuable, true impact comes from mastery. Pick one fundamental skill in your field and become exceptionally good at it. For me, it was backend development. Everything else can build upon this strong foundation.
Focus: Identify your core skill and create a mastery plan
Future Aspirations
Dreams are the blueprints of tomorrow. Here are two initiatives I'm passionate about bringing to life when the opportunity arises.
